Circular Slash VFX Effect

For this VFX Effect, I wanted to create a circle-slash attack inside of Unity. To begin the process I started to look at references for other slash attacks already made in other games. I then went into After Effects to create the circle slash attack animation that was exported as PNG files when completed. It was fun manipulating the sphere object with the trims path modifier. Using a program called GlueIt, I was able to create the sprite sheet without spending a ton of time. I also used Photoshop to create the light material that was used for when the slash event occurs. I then exported the sprite sheet and material into Unity and then began to tweak the particle effects settings to allow the slash attack to occur. Thank you for watching!
