Machine Gun VFX Effect

Machine Gun VFX Effect

For this VFX Effect, I wanted to create a Machine gun bullet effect inside of Unity. I used Photoshop to start making the materials needed for this effect. I used After Effects to create the smoke effect that is shown to reflect the heat emitting from the bullets when fired. While watching references, I was able to manipulate the particle effect settings to create this effect and make it come to life.

I had fun creating the effect of the bullets flying off to the side. I enjoyed making the bullet puncture hole inside of Photoshop when the bullets collide with an object. The model shown was acquired from the Unity Asset store to help with this demonstration. Thank you for watching!
